I live about an hour away from ASIA location. I'm wondering when the "free and open to the public" days are. I will need to decide today whether to register.

I'd consider just shopping the vendor's tables, and meeting people out as an alternative to attending the whole event.

Are decent (wood) selection opportunities available to non registrants?

Terry -- the exhibition hall is "free and open to the public" Thursday -
Saturday.

Decent wood selection? Yes, if around 25 vendors, from Europe, the US,
and Canada, selling wood can be called decent!

Once you're there, though, I'll bet that you want to register so you can
attend the workshops, classes, and evening events.
